Naksh Foundation to Celebrate Daan Utsav at Delhi Metro Stations

We are happy to announce that the Naksh Foundation will be celebrating Daan Utsav, the “Joy of Giving,” from the 3rd to the 8th of October at various Delhi Metro stations of Delhi Metro. As part of our ongoing commitment to social welfare and community engagement, we are hosting a series of impactful activities throughout the week to encourage the spirit of generosity, kindness, and giving among all.

What is Daan Utsav?

Daan Utsav, also known as the Joy of Giving Week, is celebrated annually across India to encourage people from all walks of life to give back to society in any way they can. It’s a time when individuals, communities, and organizations come together to celebrate acts of kindness and compassion.

  • GTB Nagar Metro Station
  • Azadpur Metro Station

Activities Planned for Daan Utsav at Delhi Metro Stations:

During this special week, Naksh Foundation will be organizing a variety of activities at different Delhi Metro stations to promote social awareness and inspire the spirit of giving:

  • Awareness Campaigns: Our volunteers will conduct awareness drives on critical social issues such as cybercrime awareness through our ‘CyberShield’ project, legal literacy under ‘Project Saksham,’ and initiatives for women’s empowerment and education. These campaigns will aim to educate commuters about the importance of these issues and how they can contribute to making a positive impact.
  • Donation Drives: Commuters will have the opportunity to contribute to donation drives set up at metro stations. We will be collecting essential supplies such as food, clothing, books, and educational materials, which will be distributed to underprivileged communities in need.
  • Engaging Sessions: We will host interactive sessions where commuters can engage with our volunteers, learn more about the Foundation’s projects, and explore ways to get involved and support our efforts.
  • Creative Corners: Dedicated spaces will be set up for both children and adults to participate in creative activities, including painting, storytelling, and craft-making. These activities aim to foster creativity, community bonding, and an inclusive environment for all.
  • Gratitude Walls: Each metro station will feature a ‘Gratitude Wall’ where commuters can write messages of gratitude, share their stories of kindness, or express their thoughts on giving back to society. These walls will serve as a visual representation of the collective spirit of generosity.

How You Can Participate:

We invite everyone to join us in this celebration of kindness and giving. Whether you are a regular commuter or a visitor passing through, there are many ways you can get involved:

  1. Volunteers With Us: You can volunteer to setup stalls and bring creative ideas to table.
